HOLE #1 - Par 5

Uphill Journey

This opening par 5 requires a fairly accurate drive to avoid OB left and the lake on the right. It is seldom reachable in two due to the prevailing wind normally blowing in your face on the uphill portion of the fairway which can make this hole play much longer than the indicated yardage. The green slopes back to front with a deep bunker on front left side to catch those that do not reach the green with an accurate approach shot.
