The trees lining the third fairway frame the Gavilan Range in the distance. This par 4 dogleg right is bounded by a series of Monterey pines on the right side. For the big hitters, the fairway gently slopes down toward the green and a well-placed fade shot can carry close to the front of the green yielding many birdie attempts. The small green is well protected, however, by three bunkers and if you hit your approach too long you could end up in the lake.
